This summer has been a whirlwind here at Social Enterprises. With events in sustainable athletics, smart mobility and clean fleet technology, we had a well-rounded set of events last quarter and look forward to continuing that to close out the year!
We kicked off our summer events in May with Green Transportation Summit & Expo. As the region’s premier fleet modernization and alternative fuels event, GTSE boasts the strongest gathering of fleet professionals in the clean fuels industry, with half the conference attendees representing fleet management, operations, and maintenance from corporate, municipal and other fleets. GTSE puts attendees directly in front of influencers and decision makers in the fleet industry, with ample time for networking with peers and colleagues. You can check out the 2019 program here.
We then started our busy month of June with the largest and most influential gathering for the sports community to unite around sustainability, the Green Sports Alliance Summit. The summit brought together hundreds of industry stakeholders to learn and share better practices and the latest innovations in greening operations, advancing the supply chain and engaging fans. Throughout the two-day Summit, attendees gained insights and inspiration as they joined hundreds of sports, sustainability, and brand professionals in a collaborative settings to engage in problem-solving, skill-building workshops to reduce our overall impacts. They heard from top speakers – including athletes, team leaders, and sponsors – on everything from how to transform our supply chains to engaging fans and communities in being part of the many solutions alongside their favorite teams. The summit featured 4 keynotes, 12 breakout panels, 6 plenaries, green sports celebration, 3 tours (Eagle’s stadium included) and a vendor showcase. You can view the 2019 program here.
Roadmap Conference, the leading electric and smart mobility conference in the United States was our next June venture. Held each summer in the Pacific Northwest, the Roadmap includes over 120 national and international speakers, dozens of exhibits, regional smart mobility tours, and high-energy interactive breakout sessions. With over 1100 participants in 2019, the Roadmap Conference continues to be the premier forum to explore emerging industry trends and best practices with a diverse mix of industry, utility, and government leaders. Thank you Roadmap-12 attendees, sponsors and speakers! With nearly 1200 attendees we are thrilled to have hosted the largest Roadmap Conference yet. The presentations and video footage of the keynote speakers, opening plenaries, and focus group are now live on the Program Page. The Roadmap photo album can be viewed here.
To close out our June events, we traveled to the University of Washington for the
Pac-12 Sustainability Conference. Consistent with its reputation as the Conference of Champions, the Pac-12 is the first collegiate sports conference to convene a high level symposium focused entirely on integrating sustainability into college athletics and across college campuses. The Pac-12 Sustainability Conference signals an elevated approach to enhancing sustainability efforts within collegiate athletics departments, designing new collective initiatives, and sharing best practices to transform college sports into a platform for environmental progress. See the 2019 conference program here.
Coming up, we’re heading to Sacramento for the Norcal Clean Fleet Technology Conference & Expo October 15-17. We’ll follow that up and close out 2019 with the 10th annual EcoDistricts Summit in Pittsburgh, PA November 4-5!
